Chris James is a Colorado native born and raised in Estes Park. He graduated from Estes Park High School and went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Chris graduated from CSU in 1998 with a B.A in Sociology .

Chris attended the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie and received his JD in 2002. Chris returned to Colorado and joined Huttner & Huttner late the same year. Chris is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Larimer County Bar Association.

Chris enjoys hockey, skiing, golf, and astronomy.
