Leland Huttner is a Colorado native. born and raised in Denver,
Colorado, Leland attended Gove Junior High School and East High
School. Leland graduated from the University of Denver with a
B.A. in Economics. Leland attended Westminster Law School in
Denver, Colorado, and graduated in 1953. Leland founded the law
firm of Huttner & Huttner in 1955. It is a tribute to Leland's
commitment to quality, caring legal representation, that the
firm continues to serve many of Leland's original clientele, as
well as their children and grandchildren.
Leland has a long history of community involvement and volunteer
activities. In 1994 Leland received the Jack Shapiro Community
Service Award, and in 2002 was honored with the Minoru Yasui
Community Volunteer Award.
After retiring from the practice of law in 1995, Leland has
continued to give back to the Denver community, notably acting
as a para-chaplain for Jewish Family Service. Leland sits on the
board of the Center for Judaic Studies and is active with the
Holocaust Awareness Institute.
Leland and his wife Marilyn have
four children and ten grandchildren.
