Susan Vogel attended Gove Junior High School and East High School in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and returned to Colorado to attend the University of Denver. Susan graduated from DU in 1979 with a B.A.in Psychology. Susan worked for diverse employers, including Merrill Lynch, a children's dentist, and the law firms of Isaacson, Rosenbaum, Woods, Levy & Snow, in Denver, Colorado and Maslon, Edelman, Borman and Brand in Minneapolis, Minnesota prior to her decision to attend law school.
 

Susan graduated cum laude from the Willian Mitchell college of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1991. Susan worked at several law firms, including the firm of Muriel A. Agnelli, before joining Huttner & Huttner in 1995.

Susan is the single mother of one son, Andrew.  Susan enjoys reading, frequenting estate sales, and buying and selling art, oriental rugs, and antiques.
